This week in Maths the children have been learning about different forms of data handling. I set them some Mathletics homework this week to practise the skills they have learned in class!
In Rugby, the children in Year 4 have been learning how to throw a 'pop' pass and a longer pass. We have many rugby experts in the class, who have supported me in teaching the key skills of tag rugby. We put our skills into practice with small games of 2 vs 2. Everyone is doing brilliantly to remember to throw the ball behind them (this has been very difficult to remember after a term of learning to throw ahead in netball!).
In Music, the children have been learning to play in 'rounds' with Miss Lawrence. They have been working hard to practise 'London's Burning' and 'Frere Jacques'. We look forward to a performance afternoon, where the Year 3L and 4 children will perform to each other in the coming weeks!
