Almost at the end...

How can we have reached the final week of the school year? This week has been full of performances. As we have so many siblings in Years 5 and 6, we have watched both productions of Oliver, and we were hugely proud of all our brothers, sisters, friends and ex-pupils. Then, on Wednesday, we were treated to a fantastic and inspiring adaptation of another classic, Peter Pan at Sir John Lawes. And finally, on Friday morning, we were entertained by the children in Nursery and Reception and then we listened to a fantastic brass concert in the afternoon.

We have also managed to complete our explanation texts, learnt how to do short division, considered how we can follow Jesus' example to live in communion, analysed maps and data about where in the world mega-cities are located, completed branching databases to classify living things and made coleslaw.

Next week, we will be learning about some ordinary people who have done some extraordinary things, finding out more about mega-cities and practising short division. On Wednesday, we will make the salads we planned last week and look at the French powerpoints about our families.

Please remember your ingredients for the salads on Wednesday.
